Q: What age groups do you accept at Care Bears Playland?
A: We welcome little ones from as young as 3 months all the way through to Grade R. We also offer Aftercare for primary school children up to Grade 4.
Q: When do you start potty training with the children?
A: We begin gentle, supportive potty training from around 18 months, following your child’s readiness and working closely with parents to ensure a positive experience.
Q: Is there a school uniform, and who needs to wear it?
A: Grade R learners wear a uniform every day to help prepare them for “big school” — red shirts with denim shorts or skorts, and tracksuits on chilly days. Uniforms are optional for babies through to Grade RR and consist of blue shirts with denim shorts/skorts or tracksuits. Please note: uniform is required for special event days like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Grandparents’ Day.
Q: Do you provide meals?
A: We serve a freshly cooked lunch prepared daily by our in-house chef, accompanied by seasonal fruit or dessert — ensuring our little ones are well-nourished and ready for play and learning.
Q: What are your school hours?
A: We’re open from 6:45 AM to 5:30 PM Monday - Thursday and close at 5:00 PM on Fridays.
Q: Does my child need to be potty trained to start?
A: Not at all. We support each child through every stage of development, including potty training when they’re ready.
Q: Is transport available?
A: Yes, transport is available as an optional extra in our shuttle bus. Routes and availability depend on your location — please contact us for more details.
